Black printing is significantly faster as we managed just over ten pages per minute. It doesn’t even have the two-line LCD screen of the DocuPrint CP so you’re forced to do all printer configuration and maintenance through Fuji Xerox’s printer driver. Photo print quality is also decent. A great little printer using the latest technology. Mar 4 Years, still running strong!

I wrote this review a year ago. I have had the unit for less than 2 months.
It was working fine up until two weeks ago when suddenly every sheet of paper was crumpled up by the printer. I again phoned the supervisor who confirmed that the printer was not new, but he would replace it with a different model, not a new model though.
The Fuji Xerox DocuPrint CPb is different from Fuji Xerox’s more expensive printers in that it doesn’t have a great deal of internal memory, so larger print jobs can take xreox while to start printing. It has been 4 years, no problems so far.
While its colour print quality isn’t as good as a more expensive colour laser or an inkjet, and its consumables are slightly more costly than a more initially expensive laser printer, the Fuji Xerox DocuPrint CPb makes a useful device for a small office dovuprint home business.
In both operating systems the Fuji Xerox installed drivers quickly and without hassle, and we didn’t see anything glaring missing from maintenance or toner management options — important when the printer doesn’t have a screen to monitor everything.
However I have learnt that all xerix experience paper jams and can be corrected without difficulty. Chas73 posted on Feb 06, I have been printing with it for a fortnight and have had no problems.

Avoid – cheap but dont expect it to live too long. I bought it to airprint and now I have to connect my computer to a cable to print.

Your trust is our top concern. It has refused to work with Windows. We thought colour graphics occasionally looked posterised and grainy, but for a professional document they’re acceptable. After at least four more phone calls and being told a different story each time, I asked to speak to the supervisor who did apologise for the ‘stories’ the staff had told me. It’s not fast to get the first page out but after that it’s able to produce good quality text xeox acceptable colour at a reasonable pace.

I did not chuck the machine, I stuck with it and managed to get it going again.
